This year, the Boat Show is part of the celebrations of half a century since the opening of the Vilamoura marina, the 1st in the country and the most awarded.
The 27th edition of the Marina de Vilamoura International Boat Show takes place between the 8th and 16th of June in Vilamoura, in a joint organization between the Marina de Vilamoura and FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa, the Boat Show.
This year, the Boat Show is part of the celebrations of half a century since the opening of the Vilamoura marina, the first in the country and the most awarded internationally.
The Boat Show, one of the main events dedicated to the nautical industry in Portugal, provides “professionals and the general public with the opportunity to learn about the main launches and novelties in the nautical sector, allowing them to test equipment in a practical and comfortable way, in a real marina environment”, explains the organization in a statement.
The boat show brings together all types, new and pre-owned (brokerage), in a total of more than a hundred boats, but also manufacturers, representatives of accessory brands, equipment and integrated services, which can be enjoyed at the Limatla stands, Home Port Yachts, Nautiser, Boat Center, Golden Boats, Grupo Angel Pilot, Sopromar, Neptune Pirate, MCM Yachts, MotorYachts Portugal, Azimut Yachts Algarve, Tecni Marine, Axopar Sunseeker Yachts, Lux Yacht, Skyboat, Alphayate, Nauticolour, Sky Clean or from FaroMotor.
According to the organization, “buyers, investors, business partners, professionals and lovers of the sea and recreational nautical activities, media, sector regulators, tourists and the general public are part of the approximately 80 thousand visitors that every years, since 1997, have been held at the event, confirming its leading position as the meeting point for nautical professionals and enthusiasts in Portugal”.
As in previous years, fifty prestigious brands from the most diverse areas of the sector are present, such as Sunseeker, Axopar, Azimut, Sirena Yachts, Princess, Chris Craft, Chaparral, Rand, Greenline Yachts, Cranchi, Beneteau, Epropulsion, Raymarine, Tiara Yachts, Grady White, FinnMaster, Jeanneau, Extreme Boats, Cobalt, Fjord, Sea Ray, SanLorenzo, Marex, Nireus boats, Grand inflatable boats, Rancraft Yachts, OBE & Carmen, Sealver Waveboat, Windy, Capelli, BMA, Quarken , Sunchaser, Sealges, Zar, Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, Volvo Penta, Seakeeper, Highfield, Vetus, Coppercoat, Fusion, Clinazur, Zipwake or Kohler (Generators).
The Vilamoura Marina, the Vilamoura Bureau, the Vilamoura Nautical Station, DocaPesca, Turismo do Algarve, CIMAV – Clube Internacional da Marina de Vilamoura and the Vela Solidária project can be visited in the Institutional Lounge, while the Sailor’s Lounge will be present the Boat Show’s partner brands, such as Desobediente – Subtil & Sublime wines, LivingPlus, BDR or Eoneo.
Participation in this event boosts the dynamism of the business fabric and the national economy, through the presentation of a wide range of high quality products and services, allowing us to take advantage of the high tourist potential of the region and the country and increasingly capture the international market.
On the opening day of the Boat Show, Saturday, 06/08/2024, the traditional Cimav Regata – Clube Internacional da Marina de Vilamoura will take place from 12:30 pm.
At the end of the day, prizes will be awarded to the winners at a cocktail party taking place in the Sailors Lounge.
